Car Battery

I woke up at my brothers house in Orlando to take my son to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. I got ready and when packing the car I realized that it was DEAD. I waited for my sister-in-law to wake up with their beautiful baby girl and she woke my brother. He drives a Mercedes so he ran out to buy jumper cables, came back, and attached them to the battery in the trunk. As soon as he connects them the car lights and alarms start screaming and I run to get the keys from my son watching with his ears plugged. We return back to the Sears he purchased the cables, and it turns out after a simple battery test, I had a bad battery.
Normally people would start to panic, I knew it would work its self out.
After further assessment, the battery had been purchased two years ago, since the warranty was for three years they were going to replace it only charging for the installation. When the mechanic replace the battery they discovered that the wrong size battery was in the car. The clerk asked if I would like to pay to upgrade to the proper size, but I thought,"eh it worked fine until now so lets just put the same size one in." The guy gave me a funny look said, "Okay", and started the paperwork.
A moment later the mechanic walked over from the Battery section of the store. They were out of that size because it had been discontinued. The clerk walked over and said would you like to buy a battery that has less of a warranty or would you like to pay to have the proper size one in the 3 year model. I gave him a smile and said, "well since it is not my fault Sears discontinued it, don't you think that I should get the upgrade due to the inconvenience?" He sighed and said, "well it has to be okay with Mike."
Mike agreed with me and I walked out the door not paying the difference.
We ate McDonald's with my brother and had a wonderful day at the Parks.
